Product / Live stock and pricing
Live stock and account pricing in every result
Shopsense displays current stock quantity and the logged-in customer's own price directly in search results. Both values come from the ERP, so buyers never add an out-of-stock item or see a price that differs from their invoice. The result list, not the product page, becomes the place where a buying decision is made.

Why price and stock belong in search results
A distributor buyer scanning results is comparing variants, pack sizes and brands at speed. If stock and price appear only on the product page, every comparison costs a click and a page load. Showing them in the result list lets buyers decide without opening every product, and removes the most common complaint in B2B portals: "it let me order something you didn't have."
Per-customer price lists
Each signed-in account sees the price the ERP assigns to it: tier price, contract price, promotional price or list price, with the applicable label. Guests see whatever you choose for that storefront: list price, no price, or a sign-in prompt. Prices follow the ERP's price lists. A change in the ERP is a change in search once the index record updates. A measured lag is published when it has been timed on a live catalog.
Stock by warehouse
Quantity on hand is shown from the ERP. Where the ERP stores quantity per warehouse, that split can be indexed, with the buyer's default fulfilment location first. Multi-warehouse display is confirmed for your ERP before it is turned on. Buyers who pick up from a branch can then see what is on that branch's shelves.
Backorder and low-stock states
Every result carries one of four states, each read from the ERP. States are colour-coded and also differ in text, so they are readable without colour.
- In stock with quantity
- Low stock below a threshold you set
- Backorder with the ERP's expected date
- Discontinued. Showing it only to accounts that have ordered it before, with a suggested replacement, is turned on when the ERP holds that history and the rule is confirmed.
Restricted and account-specific catalogs
Some products may only be sold to licensed accounts, specific states or specific customer groups. Shopsense honours the ERP's customer and product restrictions, so a buyer never sees an item they are not entitled to buy. That rule matters in vape and smoke wholesale. The restriction fields are mapped from your ERP during setup.
How updates propagate
- A quantity or price changes in the ERP.
- Shopsense picks up the changed rows. The mechanism, an event or a poll, is the one confirmed for your ERP.
- The affected index records update.
- The next search returns the new value.
No cache to clear, no sync to trigger.
ERP-native search covers why there is no sync layer.
